TWO PEOPLE SHOT DEAD IN ABBEY WOOD
Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of two bodies at a house in Abbey Wood.

The two people found dead have been identified as Mark Anthony Williams aged 37, of no fixed address and Susan Starbuck, aged 43 of Bracondale Road.

Police were alerted around 09.25, Wednesday 28 March, to premises in Bracondale Road, Abbeywood, where they found the bodies.

Both had been shot and were declared dead at the scene.

A firearm has been recovered from the scene.

The incident is being investigated by the MPS Specialist Crime Directorate, based at Lewisham, led by DCI Will O’Reilly.

At this early stage, they are keeping an open mind as to the circumstances.
