Lucky Campers
Erith locals, Neil and Kim Chatten from Hamilton Walk, couldn’t believe their luck when they won a brand new caravan recently. The couple was planning to buy a holiday home at Park Resorts’ Highfield Grange Holiday Park, at the Clacton-on-Sea. When they logged on the holiday operator’s website for more information about buying, they notice the competition to win a caravan, entered, and thought nothing of it – until several weeks later when they received the call to say they’d won.
“We couldn’t believe it,” said Kim Chatten. We’ve holidayed at Highfield on a number of occasions and just love it. There’s so much to do on the park – a great swimming pool, clubhouse, sports and entertainment – it beats going abroad! We were going to buy anyway, so winning our own holiday home from home is a dream come true.
The T Factor Auditions
Trust Thamesmead’s annual talent contest, The T Factor is taking place on Saturday 21 April.
Open to all Thamesmead school pupils and residents (there is no age limit) who have talent and have always dreamed of being a pop star. This year’s competition will be fiercer than ever, with just one act being given the chance to support one of the biggest names in pop (to be announced soon), in front of 20,000+ people at Trust Thamesmead’s Summer Festival in Birchmere Park, Thamesmead on Saturday 14 July.
Spaces are limited, more than 70 acts auditioned for The T Factor last year so if your intrestested, readers should contact Danny for more information and an application form as soon as possible.
