Bexley Libraries would like to read your recollections of that swinging decade, whether you were at school, a teenager buying your first Beatles’ or Stones’ single, or working and raising a family. Your memories don’t have to be about Bexley, but we are particularly interested if you lived or worked in the borough at this time. Did you shop in Hides in Bexleyheath, or work in a local factory such as Vickers in Crayford? Did you attend a local school, or go to see chart topping pop groups at the Black Prince? Whatever your memories and wherever you lived, Bexley Libraries would love to hear your stories, with a view to publishing them on our website and in a book.
