A Wheelie Good Day Out
Hundreds of Tour de France cyclists rocketed through Erith on Sunday 8th July and even more spectator come out to cheer them on. The Tour de France brought a buzz to North Bexley, with plenty of activities in the area provided by the council, churches and local pubs. Many people stay out in the warm sunshine made and the most of the day. Erith Riverside Shopping Centre, organised entertainment at the town centre for the crowds. Children and adults were amused by unicycling, juggling and balloon-modelling skills, and for the adults there was a French market, Belvedere Splash park held a treasure hunt. and Christchurch had a Open House. Overall the event was a great success.
