Police hunt for teen killer
Police have launched a murder inquiry following the death of a male in Erith on 5th January 2008. Police were called by a member of the public at approximately 3 am to reports of a stabbing incident at a flat in Verona House, Waterhead Close, Erith.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found three males suffering from stab wounds.

Faridon Alizada, 18 years old from Woolwich SE18, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims, both aged 16 years old, were taken to the Royal London Hospital. One victim remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition and the other has been treated and discharged.

Police investigating the circumstances of the incident are retaining an open mind regarding the motive but believe the incident happened following an altercation with one or more suspects who then left the flat. The Police are now appealing for witnesses following the possible murder in Erith.

Two men, one aged 31 years old and the other aged 41 were arrested later on the same day in connection with the incident and were taken to a South London police station. One remains in custody and the other was later released on 7th January 2008 with no further action.

Police are now looking for a further two suspects in connection with the incident - both described as white men:

Suspect 1 is described as having stubble, wearing a black woolly hat, blue jeans, a white bomber jacket and white trainers.

Suspect 2 is described as wearing a waist-length yellow fluorescent vest or jacket and white trainers.

It is believed the two suspects left Verona House together shortly after the incident at 3 am. It is not known at this stage whether they travelled on foot or used a vehicle.

Detective Inspector Rickells said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the two suspects entering or leaving Verona House in the early hours of that morning to come forward.”
