Treasure Hunt
Don’t be surprised to see young pirates and fairies running around Belvedere Splash Park next month in search of buried treasure! The park is hosting a special treasure hunt on the day the Tour de France comes through the borough (8 July).

The park will open early at 9am when the water will be turned on for playtime. A face painter will be on-hand to turn the youngsters into pirates and fairies from 9am -10am. The free treasure hunt kicks off at 10am - there is no need to book.

To win a prize the children will be given a picture and will have to search the park for another to make a matching pair.

From around 9.30am parents, carers and children at the park will be able to see the Tour de France caravan pass the Splash Park, giving out free gifts. The cyclists will race by at 11.15am.

The Splash Park will close for the day at 5pm. The Splash Park Treasure Hunt is one of a number of events planned along the Tour de France route in Bexley.
