HAMMER ATTACK
Bexley Police are appealing for information and witnesses following an assault on three men in Thamesmead on Sunday 15 April.

Police were called to Lensbury Way, near the junction with Abbey Way at approximately 4.25 pm. The men were suffering from injuries possibly inflicted by hammer or other weapons.

They were taken by LAS to a south London hospital. Police believe the victims may have been assaulted with a hammer and/or other weapons.

Two victims, both aged 20, were treated at hospital for minor injuries; a third victim, aged 25, remains in hospital and is in a stable condition having sustained head and facial injuries. (NPTD which hospital)

Although police were called to reports of men in possession of firearms there is no evidence that firearms were discharged at the scene and no firearms have been recovered.

The investigation is being carried out by Bexleyheath CID.
