Beverley Gardner, Head teacher of Christ Church, Erith,CE VA Primary School, Lesney Park Road, Erith, has been awarded the prestigious National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) at a ceremony at the University of Surrey, Guildford on 17th September.
Frank Clare, NPQH Centre Manager for the South East, congratulated the teachers, saying, “The effort that goes into achieving this qualification is a considerable investment, not only in your own future, but in that of children and young people in our schools. None of you could have achieved the qualification without the support of others. It now opens the way for you to continue to work with others, in schools and the wider community, to help to determine the future of our society. It is a significant responsibility, but one which you have proved you are equal to. We congratulate your achievement.”
The graduates were presented with a paperweight as a memento of this special occasion. They celebrated their achievement in the company of their friends and families, enjoying the opportunity to catch up with each other and their tutors at a buffet reception.
