People’s Pub Competition winner
The Nordenfelt Public House has again for the second year running won the Gateway News Peoples Pub award. Now under new management, the landlady Julie Mills puts the success down to having friendly punters & friendly staff.
Since taking over The Nordenfelt about three months ago, Julie has concentrated her efforts on redecorating the inside of the pub and bringing in a new selection of beers. The pub also provides a large range of entertainment at the weekend, from live singers to karaoke.
Inside you can also enjoy a game of pool or a game of darts. Julie has plans to also introduce food, so people can enjoy a meal with their pints.
Julie said “Thanks to everyone that voted for the pub, its good to have my work appreciated”
Close runners up this year was the Running Horses in Erith.
