A fund raising event raised over £500 to donate to the Greenwich and Bexley Hospice. Over 120 people attended the bash hosted at Erith Working Mans Club, Valley Road on the 27th August. A good time was had by all enjoying various fund raising fun such as fancy dress, raffles, food sale. Alan Powell, Entertainment secretary said “This is one of many charity events we do for the hospice. It was a thoroughly enjoyable night and I have been overwhelmed with people’s generosity. I would like to give a special thanks to Sunbless for donating the rolls, Ann & Frank Webber for all the sausages and burgers and Celeb hair dressers”
